While the powers that be continue to blithely embarrass the nation in the eyes of the world on their fumbling disaster management of the ill-fated Mas Flight MH370 that went missing mysteriously 6 days ago, the heat and haze hit us like an oppressive presence, choking us and clogging up our lungs, smarting our eyes and making us sick and our days miserable and hot.
On top of that, we have to suffer the indignity of the two days on two days off water rationing that makes no sense, yet nobody gives a damn!
Well, at least the Pm had time to look for his bargain celestial chickens! while we choke and fume and stink and smell.
Most of the time we blame Indonesia for the haze. This time, the haze is not trans border.
We are our own source of the haze enveloping the nation.
What are the authorities planning to do about the haze?
Unfortunately for us now, we don't have the luxury to point our fingers at our neighbour and sit back and do nothing!

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
