Hard To Disagree With Kalimullah That Pm Anwar Has Become "Hollow, And Meaningless"

I must say that it is hard not to agree with what Kalimullah has said Anwar has become "hollow and uninspiring"

I would go further to say that Anwar has turned out to be a huge letdown to those who had voted for him in the hope of turning the country around for the better after years of endemic corruption, and the the constant play on race and religion that have divided Malaysians of diverse races, cultures and religions.

Anwar often projected himself as the unifying leader, one who had publicly proclaimed that "anak cina, anak saya, anak India, anak saya, anak Iban, anak saya, anak Dayak, anak saya' and so on and so forth.

But the very first opportunity he had to show he was indeed what he publicly proclaimed to be, the true colour showed itself.

Instead of calmly replying, as the Pm and a leader, he tore into the poor frightened  form six Indian student who had asked about discrimination  when it came to the allocation for places in public tertiary education institutions facing non Malay/Bumiputera students.

That day was revealing for me.

Politicians, once in power, care only for what would keep one in power.

They forget the promises and sweet words they spout.

As days go by, they imagine themselves indispensable great leaders and statesmen, forgetting that power subverts that often renders one big in the head and little in substance.

Sad but often it all turns out be so.

Ai ya ya!!
