So, the mind is not the seat of consciousness.

Consciousness is an extra dimensional thingy.

It exists apart from the mind.

Life goes on after our physical death.

Minus the physical body.

It's a transition awaiting new incarnations.

A cycle from one to another.

But for and to what purpose or end?

An essentially mindless floating about?

I say, dump the thought or the theory of life transitioning from one to another, deathless, in a sense.

But still all the pain and sufferings encumbered through the karmic cycles so to speak, from one incarnation to another.

Quantum physics might be a tempting resort to ground the theory of consciousness independent of the mind and body.

Still, it is all a tether at best, not a liberation.

Not something an incontrovertible given, no matter how appealing or seemingly logical quantum physics might appear to present.

I say, kick all this slavery and transcend, go beyond and attain immortality in all its glory minus all the distractions.

Be the lord and master of all, freed from all limitations and vulnerabilities.

That is the one and true liberation!
