On Anwar Hitting Out At Israel's 'Punitive, Unprovoked' Strikes On Iran

Is Anwar often quick to project himself as the hero of the Islamic world?

Perhaps it is better to be more circumspect and considered.

For a man who dismissed the October 7 incident when Hamas agents, (others called terrorists) broke into Israel, shot and killed Israeli civilians, raped the women, burned babies and took Israeli hostages that led to the Israeli response to Hamas as sort of non-event and condemned Israel for the response, it is hard to not be cynical about his outburst.

One could condemn Israel but to ignore and justify Oct 7 as what should be expected as coming what does it all say?

It does look like Anwar's condemnation of what he called Israel's 'punitive, unprovoked strikes' against Iran is quite typical of the man when it comes to projecting himself as a hero of the Islamic world but, unfortunately for him, there are Malays who caution against unmitigated support for Iran.

Don't know lah! But...

Some of the comments to the Malaysia Focus article are, indeed, quite unexpected and eye-opening!
