Last year in Beijing, at age 14, she won the Watercube Singing Contest For Overseas Chinese Teenagers, beating some 54 contestants from all over the world.Still only 15 today, she is hoping to improve her singing and to develop a career singing Chinese songs.
With proper guidance and a good teacher, that shouldn't be a problem for her.
It seems that she has been singing from a very young age, encouraged by her adoptive Chinese mother whom she said loves to sing.

ReplyDeleteMark Soo, no doubt about that. Lee Pei Ling is a great singer. Even though she did not clinch the title in the just concluded Sing!China competition, in my view she is already a winner at such a young age. Just like Langga Lamu, she will become more popular and in demand then those who have won. You can't just ignore someone with such a talent as the Penang lass undoubtedly is.
