Pasar Ramadan (Ramadan market or bazaar)

Ramadan (the Muslim fasting month) is fast coming to a close. So, we decided to check out the Ampang new town pasar Ramadan in Selangor and the one at the nearby Bukit Indah to get something for our dinner.

The pasar Ramadan at Bukit Indah is a less raucous affair, but still colourful as the following pictures show.

As Ramadan, the Muslim fasting month, draws to an end and the HariRaya Aidilfitri celebrations dawn either this August 30th or 31st, depending on the sighting of the moon on the 29th, I wish all my Muslims friends and all Malaysians and others of Muslim faith SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI.

Ma'af Zahir dan Batin.

  1. Looking at this post, reminds me of how soon it will be Ramadan again! Just getting over the indulgence of CNY, planning summer trips and then the fasting/ feasting month will be upon us again. :-)

    1. It seems that in Malaysia, there is a constant round of celebrations coming thick and fast on the heels of each other.
