As the train pulls into the station, you cannot help but notice the bust-shaped gunung Lambak towering over the town.

Kluang, which is located in the center of Johore state, used to be a sleepy hollow. There was even a slum right in the center of the town, back in the late 60s which got burned down mysteriously one night.

Today, it is a bustling town with shopping malls.
