MACC chief Azam Baki asked what was he to do since the anti-corruption body had found there was no conflict over Yeoh’s husband’s transport deal with Selangor.
To avoid any accusation of nepotism and corrupt practice, family members/relatives of the Cabinet, MPs and state assembly persons should not be engaged in public tenders nor be awarded any even if qualified.
Of course they are not, nor should be restricted, from or in doing business, but they should not be engaged in public tenders nor be awarded public tender contracts.
That's the best way to do away with nepotism and corrupt practice and/or accusations of the same.
Period.
