Late Night Dinner At Pelita Restaurant Ampang Point

We had a late night dinner at the Ampang Point Pelita Indian restaurant the other night.

The Pelita Restaurant Ampang Point
I had nasi kandar - rice, with chicken curry and a piece of chicken breast and two veges, kobis (cabbage) and long beans.

I like my rice white and fluffy. I don't like basmati rice which is often dry and thin and normally used for cooking nasi briyani.

The food looked good and tasted nice. The piece of chicken breast luckily was soft and tender.

The curry too was just to my taste, not too piquant nor overwhelmed with spices.

For dessert, I went for a piece of roti canai and nescafe tarik.

I am not a fan of dhall curry to go with the roti canai. Normally I would opt for min (fish) or kuri (chicken) curry to dip the roti into, but the dhall curry the waiter brought without my asking tasted surprisingly good.

It seems that the Malaysian owners of the Pelita restaurant have opened several outlets too in India and this was confirmed by a waiter at the restaurant.
