One of them was born in Malaysia, grew up in Australia and then moved to work in Beijing. Via her I learned about the country. And recently the manger of Deutsches Gasthaus, a German restaurant/cafe in Kuala Lampoor said Hello to me. You might want to visit the place.G.M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02652216131823877445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2767237863951914863.post-27564923256846235342012-02-05T01:46:47.833+08:002012-02-05T01:46:47.833+08:00That's the unfortunate thing. Parti Keadilan, the party led by Anwar Ibrahim, for example, has members from all races. So too does the Democratic Action Party (DAP) led by Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng which is lately attracting an increasing number of Malay members. Yes, the Chinese make up about 30% of the population and besides Chinese investments, China is also a major importer of some of our natural resources. Thanks for your comments, Giora. You seem to know quite a bit about Malaysia.ordinary malaysianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07203213176296398467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2767237863951914863.post-36013211802878334762012-02-04T23:58:02.010+08:002012-02-04T23:58:02.010+08:00"The UMNO is the only party that can protect ..."The UMNO is the only party that can protect the Malay race, religion and the country ....". That is not good enough. From what I read on the internet, the Malays have only a slim majority in Malaysia and the second largest ethnic group is the Chinese with about 25% of the population. Any ruling political party should aim to imrpove the lives of all the people living in Malaysia. China investing in Malaysia and theer are already 10 Chinese companies listed on the Malaysian stock market. And as you said, divisive politics are bad .. uniting all the ethnic groups who share Malaysia is the future.G.M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02652216131823877445noreply@blogger.com
