Thank You Prime Minister!

It is not everyday that you receive a message on your hand-phone from the prime minister himself!

But early this morning, there was a blip on my hand-phone. My normal reaction to unfamiliar sms is to delete and not read them at all.

But I made an exception this morning. After all, today is mother's day.

And the message was from the prime minister himself!

It read:

Selamat Hari Ibu. Pengorbanan kaum ibu kpd kesejahteraan keluarga amatlah dihargai. Najib Razak. Sender: Celcom

Translation:
The contribution and sacrifice of mothers to the family's well-being is greatly appreciated. Najib Razak. Sender: Celcom

Thank you prime minister!

Nice try. Nice touch.

However, I do greatly value and appreciate the contribution and sacrifice of a mother.

Still, my vote won't go to you Mr prime minister.

I am just wondering how much you must have spent sending out the message to the rakyat.

Or is the cost to be billed to the PMO?

I surely hope not, because that will be another reason why my vote won't go to you.

Or was that a free service to you from Celcom?

But wouldn't it be better for Celcom to have sent the message on its own to its customers?

To all mothers, I wish you:

A Very Happy Mother's Day!

You deserve all the love and respect due.

To my departed mum, I wish the same to you too.

Love. From a son.

Kluang was a sleepy hollow, but is fast becoming a bustling town. You can't miss the bust-shaped gunung Lambak lording over the place and the town is well known for its tv brand coffee powder

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
